Help welcome new international students arriving to the U.S.! We provide airport pickups, short-term housing and more.
Befriend students
Meet regularly with a student as a friend or conversation partner. Get to know them and their interests better during their stay in Tempe.
Holiday Hosting
Host a student for an American holiday. We currently pair students with families for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter!
Donate furniture
Donate unwanted furniture or help move furniture for a new student arriving in the U.S.
About IFI
International students often struggle with culture shock, stress, and loneliness when leaving their homes to study in the US. International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) is a national organization partnering with local churches, universities, and volunteers to provide life-changing hospitality and friendship to international students. We work strategically to make the world feel at home and extend God’s love globally — right where we are.
